The demo makes it look like magic, which is the problem with demos. The real process is unglamorous, and worth understanding before you trust it with an application.
When you swipe right, Drever reads that specific job description — the responsibilities, the phrasing, the skills named and the ones merely implied — and rebuilds your resume around it. Your bullet points take on the posting’s vocabulary. The experience that matches moves up. The rest stays, quieter.
What it does not do is invent. No fabricated employers, no borrowed achievements, no skills you never listed. If something is not in your CV it will not be in the tailored one, which is the only version of this that survives an interview.
The mechanism, in four parts
It reads the posting, not a template
There is no generic 'graduate' or 'senior engineer' mould being applied. Every rewrite starts from the words in that one job description, which is why two applications made on the same day come out different.
Keyword mirroring, done honestly
Screening tools and recruiters both match on the language of the posting before anyone reads for meaning. If the ad says 'stakeholder management' and your CV says 'working with clients', that is a match lost to vocabulary. We close that gap using your real experience.
You see it before it's sent
The tailored CV is yours to read, edit and reject. Nothing is submitted automatically and nothing goes out on your behalf.
Then you find out if it was opened
When a recruiter views your CV, you are told. It closes the loop that the rest of the hiring process leaves open.

What exactly does it change in my CV?
Wording and order, not substance. Bullet points get rephrased toward the posting's own terminology, and the roles and skills most relevant to that job move up the page. Your employers, dates, titles and qualifications are left alone.
Does it ever add skills I don't have?
No. The rewrite is constrained to what is already in your resume. If a posting asks for something you have not done, the tailored version will not claim it — it emphasises the closest thing you genuinely have instead.
Why fifteen seconds and not instant?
Most of that is reading. The model works through the full job description before it touches your CV, and a shallower pass produces exactly the generic output that makes tailored resumes worthless.
Can I edit the result?
Yes. Every tailored CV is editable before you download it, from whatever device you happen to be on.
